After the departure of Neymar and poor transfer window, it was being said that Barcelona’s star Lionel Messi is not going to sign a new contract as his current contract end in January.
Club’s president in past told media that Little Master has already signed a new contract but this statement was denied from within Barcelona boards.

Since then there have been talks that Messi is going to be free to go in January 2018 but now a new statement comes from Barcelona’s President saying that Lionel Messi’s Father has already signed a new contract on behalf of him and he is currently playing under that contract.
He also added that his new contract will keep him at Barcelona until 2021.
