After an amazing start to Premier League Campaign and win against Arsenal, Liverpool started to get some serious problems as they lost 5-0 to Manchester City and also lost their Star Sadio Mane for 3 matches.
Now Liverpool is going to challenge this ban even though Klopp earlier said it would be waste of time to appeal for this.
Heart Of The Matter:
Liverpool‘s Sadio Mane was sent off during the match vs city for raising the foot to challenge goalkeeper Ederson which unfortunately made contact with his face.
He was sent off immediately and later after the match he was given punishment of three-match ban for such harsh challenge.
Liverpool can appeal to reduce the ban but Red’s manager thinks this would be another waste of time.Even if the appeal is successful it won’t completely remove the ban but it would be reduced to either one or two games.
If the appeal is unsuccessful, Sadio Mane will miss a Home game against Burnley and two ties with Leicester.
