Conor Gallagher has been linked with a shock move to Paris Saint-Germain. The 21-year-old has had an impressive season at Crystal Palace and has caught the eye of Mauricio Pochettino.

Conor Gallagher’s Season So Far
The youngster is currently enjoying a loan spell under Patrick Vieira at Crystal Palace. He signed with them in the summer on a season-long loan from Chelsea. In that time, the English midfielder has scored six goals and made three assists. He has been one of Crystal Palace’s standout players this season.
It will be difficult for PSG to sign Gallagher as he still has to finish his loan spell at Crystal Palace. However, the French giants will continue to monitor the young midfielder throughout the remainder of the season. Thomas Tuchel is also impressed with Gallagher’s form and will be reluctant to let him leave in the summer. It’ll take a big offer from PSG to persuade Chelsea to sell him.
Will Gallagher Fit In at PSG?
Paris Saint-Germain are currently sat top of the French league with a comfortable gap. Pochettino has several star players at the club including Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar Jr. Gallagher will only improve his game when playing behind such an incredible attack.
Georginio Wijnaldum left Liverpool to sign for PSG during the last transfer window. However, with players such as Ander Herrera and Idrissa Gana Gueye nearing the end of their careers, PSG will still look to add to their squad in that position. Conor Gallagher has been viewed as one of their preferred options for the role.
As it stands, Conor Gallagher will finish his season-long loan with Crystal Palace before moving to another club. It will then be up to him to decide what is best for his future at Chelsea in the summer.
