Fantasy Premier League: Hot or Not Picks featuring Lucas Moura

Fantasy Premier League: Hot or Not Picks – Gameweek Four Preview

The International break is fast approaching and the deadline for game week four transfer is also nearing. Last week was a tough weekend for most managers as the most transferred in player saw an early bath. So, wondering who will replace Richarlison? Perhaps Lucas Moura or Raul Jimenez? Read below to see the hot or not picks ahead for game week four.

Hot

Raul Jimenez – £5.5m

Wolverhampton earned a vital point last weekend as they held Champions Manchester City to a well-earned draw. The newly-promoted side played more offensive football instead of defensive, something City have faced a lot over the past 12 months. Wolves could even have taken three points, but inevitably City held. They now face West Ham United with confidence, especially as the East Londoners have made a dismal start to their campaign. So with Wolves’ quality going forward, you fully expect them to grab some goals and Raul Jimenez will likely grab many opportunities to test the Hammer’s leaky defence.

Lucas Moura – £7.1m

With Heung Min-Son still at the Asian Games, it seemed Spurs had lost their pace going forward. However, after his first Premier League goal last weekend the Brazilian added another two to his tally against Manchester United. Lucas Moura plays just ahead of Harry Kane and is there for head-ons or an Eriksen through ball. Spurs face a strong Watford, but the Hornets still haven’t been tested against the top teams. So the 25-year-old could provide another man-of-the-match performance for Tottenham.

Aymeric Laporte – £5.5m

Manchester City’s January signing has the potential to be world-class, and is starting to show his quality. The Frenchmen has demoted Otamendi and John Stones, who had a phenomenal World Cup to the bench. With the Premier League champions facing a lacklustre Newcastle, it could be a quiet afternoon for the 24-year-old, and possibly earn the clean sheet points.

Not

Richarlison – £6.5m

The Brazilian was the most transferred player in for game week three. However, he did not repay his manager after getting a straight red-card over the weekend. The 21-year-old will miss now the next three games, so many fantasy managers will need to re-asses over the coming weeks.

David De Gea – £6m

Well, it has to be said Manchester United‘s season could not have had a worse start. Losing against Brighton, then soundly beaten 3-0 at home by Tottenham Hotspur. The defence has faced much criticism, and it hasn’t been easy going for the Spaniard in goal either. Following the form of the last two games, it seems inevitable that Mourinho’s team will concede.

Roberto Firmino – £9.5m

Firmino enjoyed a fantastic campaign last time out but has, as yet, failed to get his season up and running. The Liverpool striker has two assists so far, however, it seems his search for a goal could continue. With The Reds set to face Tottenham and Chelsea straight after the international break, his task will not be an easy one.
