Manchester United Launch Massive Offer ‘Incredible’ Versatile Forward To Fire Up Their Attacking Force

Manchester United have been quite slow in the 2025 summer transfer window with getting their desired deals sealed, having only been able to sign Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers so far.

The Red Devils are still pushing to resolve the futures of some players they want to sell before the transfer window closes, but they are also keen on the completion of the move for their primary target, Bryan Mbeumo.

The Premier League giants now appear to have taken a major step forward in their attempts to sign the Cameroon winger before their first match of the 2025 pre-season campaign.

How Much Are Manchester United Offering Brentford For Bryan Mbeumo Signing?

Manchester United are facing major difficulties in completing the move to sign Bryan Mbeumo from the London-based Premier League side. They recently had a £62.5 million offer rejected by the Bees, who are not keen on losing one of their best players of the 2024/25 season.

However, it’s now being reported that the Red Devils have amped up their attempts to sign Mbeumo and have also made a brand new offer to convince Brentford to get the deal finalised.

It’s claimed that Manchester United are ready to pay the London club around £65 million plus £5 million in potential add-ons, which would exceed the amount (£62.5 million) that they had paid for the signing of Matheus Cunha from Wolves.

United are now reportedly awaiting a response from Brentford on this deal and are hoping that this is enough to finalise an agreement for the signing of the Cameroon international.

It’s already been reported that Mbeumo had personally informed his club that he only wants to join the Red Devils in the 2025 summer if he were to make a transfer. His contract with the London club expires in 2026, although there is an option for Brentford to extend it by a further 12 months into 2027.

Why So Desperate For Bryan Mbeumo?

Mbeumo was one of the best forwards in the 2024/25 Premier League campaign, scoring 20 goals and providing seven assists in 38 matches for the Bees.

He was only outscored by the likes of Alexander Isak, Erling Haaland and Mohamed Salah last season, and the 25-year-old winger scored more goals on his own than what Man United forward Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee could score combined (six) in the 2024/25 Premier League.

Not only that, but the Cameroon international was able to prove his quality with his impressive statistical metrics last season.

He averaged 0.40 non-penalty goals in the 2024/25 Premier League, as well as 3.80 shot-creating actions and 3.72 progressive passes per 90 minutes.

In comparison, Rasmus Hojlund was only able to average 0.30 non-penalty goals, 2.07 shot-creating actions, and 0.96 progressive passes per 90 minutes last season in the league. Alejandro Garnacho, similarly, had 0.20 non-penalty goals and 2.21 progressive passes per 90 minutes last season in the Premier League.

Mbeumo is also quite a versatile, hard-working player who can play a variety of roles for his team. He is naturally a right-winger, but can also play as a No.10 or even as a centre-forward if needed for his side.

Former Brentford manager Thomas Frank hailed the Cameroonian’s ability to score his 18th goal of the 2024/25 Premier League campaign as an “incredible achievement” as his side rode on his brilliance.

Mbeumo has proven his quality in the Premier League with his goal contributions last season and is in his prime, which means he’ll make an instant impact for the Red Devils and can power up their goalscoring efficiency as well.
