Real Madrid vs Manchester City: Who Has the Stronger Team?

Both teams have a brilliant goalkeeper and a good enough defence. Both Thibaut Courtois and Gianluigi Donnarumma are among the best in the business. While Real’s defence contains men like Antonio Rudiger and Eder Militao, Manchester City have Marc Guehi and Ruben Dias in central defence.

Then, there is the midfield, in which again the honours are shared. Real have Aurelien Tchouameni, Federico Valverde and Jude Bellingham – all proven winners. Manchester City are not far behind with Ballon d’Or winner Rodri, Bernardo Silva and new signings Rayan Cherki and Tijjani Reijnders.

In attack, Real have the edge. They have Vinicius Junior, Kylian Mbappe, Arda Guler, Gonzalo and Rodrygo, which is among the most feared set of forwards assembled in the world.

The Cityzens also have Erling Haaland, Antoine Semenyo, Omar Marmoush and Jeremy Doku, which is again a very good set of players. Both Mbappe and Haaland have been really busy scoring goals of late. However, Real seem to be having a slight edge of one takes a deeper look at the squads. Moreover, Real’s unparalleled success also makes them the favourite in any knock-out tie in the Champions League they go into.

There is one area, however, in which Manchester City have a distinct edge. Pep Guardiola is easily a more accomplished manager than Alvaro Arbeloa, who is doing an interim job and has just started off as a manager.

Guardiola has won three Champions League titles, including one with Manchester City, as a manager in the past. The Spaniard will try to do it once more with the team that he has led to unprecedented success in Premier League. However, for that to happen, he will have to help his team win the Real Madrid vs Manchester City tie first.

However, it will be very difficult to predict the outcome of the Real Madrid vs Manchester City tie. Football lovers all over the world will still be eagerly waiting to watch the match between two wonderful teams in March.
