Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid had a great week, progressing in the UEFA Champions League after knocking off Manchester City on penalties. Holding an eight-point lead in the league standings heading into the contest, beating Barca for a third time this season will almost surely give Real the title.

Attentions will now turn back to the domestic league, where Xavi’s side will have to claim three points in order to remain in the title race.
Barca’s LaLiga form has been excellent, with eight wins from their last 10 outings and four victories on the bounce. They have not conceded in any of their last six games in the competition, which is quite impressive. With that said, they will face their greatest enemy, where they will have to do quite well to maintain their clean sheet streak going.
