For many fans, the chaos of the Premier League Transfer Deadline Day feels like a lifetime ago.
However, taking into account the international break, many of those players who made late moves are yet to make their debut for their new sides, including those set to feature in Fulham vs Leeds.
Fulham were one of the busiest sides on transfer deadline day, but who did they sign and how may they feature against Leeds?
Fulham vs Leeds: The Analysis
Under head coach Daniel Farke, Leeds currently sit 12th ahead of this fixture, after a respectable start to the season. A valuable win against Everton in their opening fixture, and a point at home against Newcastle, ensure that four points has them situated in mid-table, inclusive of a heavy defeat against Arsenal at the Emirates.
Fulham, on the other hand, currently sit 18th, after some tough opening fixtures. The Cottagers may be pleased with 1-1 draws against Manchester United and Brighton, respectively. However, they may feel aggrieved following their latest defeat against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Therefore, Fulham, with a strengthened side, should look to come out firing and on the front foot. Leeds, equally so, are yet to make a statement on their travels this season, and a victory at Craven Cottage may prove valuable for Daniel Farke’s men.
The Arrival of Samuel Chukwueze
Fulham’s first arrival on transfer deadline day came in the form of AC Milan and Nigeria winger Samuel Chukwueze. The deal was sealed by both clubs on loan with an option to buy for around thirty million euros.
Chukwueze performed respectably with AC Milan. However, he has recently struggled for gametime under coach Massimiliano Allegri, which has led to the move. Chukwueze boasts attributes of explosive pace and skill, assets which may prove useful as he adapts to the Premier League.
Since his arrival, Samuel Chukwueze has been on international duty with Nigeria. Therefore it is unlikely Fulham fans will see him from the start on Saturday.
The Arrival of Kevin
Fulham’s second transfer deadline day was sealed with a record fee from the club, parting ways with £34.6 million to secure the arrival of Kevin from Shakhtar Donetsk.
Jokingly dubbed ‘Pele’s son’ by Fulham captain Tom Cairney after Kevin’s first training sessions with the Whites, the young winger appears to be ready for his dream Premier League move. The Portuguese-speaking winger has shown top levels of skill and maturity, earning him such a move.
Kevin has been training with Fulham FC over the international break and may be in line for a start against Leeds.

The Arrival of Jonah Kusi-Asare
Fulham’s final deadline day arrival was announced the following day after complications with the move that were eventually resolved. Swedish striker Jonah Kusi-Asare eventually joined the club on loan with an option-to-buy, as well as a buyback clause for German giants Bayern Munich.
Kusi-Asare only has a handful of first-team appearances at 18. However, he boasts attributes that may be beneficial should they be utilised well. Kusi-Asare stands at six foot four and is a mobile clinical striker who plays on the front foot.
Jonah Kusi-Asare is not expected to be the Whites’ first-choice striker, and has featured for Sweden U21s over the international break, thus decreasing his potential to start against Leeds.
Conclusion
The players that Fulham have brought in add an element of youth to the side, whilst replacing some positions that needed to be filled by those who departed, including Willian.
Marco Silva is well-known for phasing in new arrivals gradually. As a result, fans will be hoping the players can make an imprint on the side once they are phased in.
