Injury and Suspension Updates to Note

Cole Palmer was due to return to fitness this weekend from a groin injury. However, a recent toe injury he incurred at home will keep him out for Chelsea’s next few fixtures.

Liverpool’s Florian Wirtz is out with a muscle injury that is expected to keep him out until at least the end of November.

Anthony Gordon is likely to be available for selection this weekend as Newcastle host Man City. However, he may not be fit enough to start.

Manchester United’s Benjamin Sesko picked up a knee injury against Tottenham in Gameweek 11. The Slovenian is expected to return to fitness in mid-December, ahead of the Christmas fixtures.

Bournemouth midfielder Justin Kluivert sustained an abductor injury during the international break. His return date is currently unknown.

Arsenal have arguably had the best defence in the Premier League this season. Gabriel, who has played a big role in that, is carrying a thigh injury. His return date is also unknown.

Must-Have FPL Picks

The most obvious pick for Fantasy Football Matchweek 12 is goal-scoring machine Erling Haaland (£14.9m). The Man City striker has scored in all but one game so far this season, for both club and country.

Manchester United seem to be finding their footing somewhat, as has their new signing, Bryan Mbuemo (£8.6m). Beating Everton will not be straightforward for Ruben Amorim’s men, but the Cameroon international is likely to have a goal contribution in the game.

Crystal Palace travel to Wolverhampton for Gameweek 12. In what should be an easy game for Oliver Glasner’s side, Marc Guehi (£5.1m) stands as a solid option in defence. His teammate Jean-Philippe Mateta (£8.1m) is likely to get on the scoresheet too.

Moises Caicedo (£6.1m) and Joao Pedro (£7.5m) are Chelsea’s most favourable FPL picks ahead of their game against Burnley.
