Recently, the Adama Traore to West Ham move was confirmed, as Fulham parted ways with the winger, and Nuno Espirito Santo acquired a winger whom he had previously been chasing when he was manager of Nottingham Forest.
With that being said, is this a good move for all involved?

From the point of view of Fulham, Adama Traore to West Ham is a sensible deal that will free up funds for the Cottagers to invest in that position.
Traore joined the side on a free transfer before the 2023/24 season and has made 79 appearances in that time, scoring four goals and registering 13 assists.
However, this season, Welsh winger Harry Wilson has been in fine form, and Fulham completed the acquisitions of Samuel Chukwueze from AC Milan and Kevin from Shakhtar Donetsk.
Furthermore, the side are on the verge of completing a deal for Manchester City winger Oscar Bobb, therefore allowing the Adama Traore to West Ham move to happen.
When taking into account the new acquisitions, this has limited the Spanish winger’s time on the pitch.
In addition, Traore’s performances when he has been on the pitch have been criticised, further contributing to a departure and the completion of the deal for Adama Traore to West Ham.
The Spaniard’s best season in a Fulham shirt came last season, when the winger registered two goals and eight assists – his best return since he was with Wolves.
Although this is an adequate return for a winger, frustrations continued when he didn’t produce this often enough, for a player who should have so much potential with his stature and speed.
In a similar manner to previous stages throughout his career, Adama Traore’s technical ability and end product was often criticised at Fulham, as well as his ball retention.
However, the player was signed on a free transfer and played 79 matches for Fulham, indicating that the Cottagers obtained plenty of matches from a winger with minimal financial outlay.
Should Fulham complete a deal for Oscar Bobb and seal a replacement for the winger following Adama Traore’s move to West Ham, many will argue that the Whites have upgraded significantly in that position.
Although he has completed very few full matches in the Premier League, fans up and down the country have noted that the winger is a talented player.

Adama Traore To West Ham: The Hammers’ Point Of View
From a West Ham point of view, Adama Traore to West Ham is not an exciting deal, as he may have a limited role with the side. However, he will provide the Hammers with depth for a small fee.
Adama Traore to West Ham is not a move that is expected to allow the player to start. The Hammers currently boasts the likes of Jarrod Bowen and Crysencio Summerville in that position.
Although the form of the two players has been somewhat variable, both have more quality to them in comparison to Adama Traore.
However, Adama Traore to West Ham does make sense with regards to a link-up with Nuno Espirito Santo.
Therefore, the West Ham manager will be hoping that he will be able to obtain all the potential positives out of the Adama Traore to West Ham move.
Can Adama Traore Prove People Wrong?
Adama Traore to West Ham is a move that has been welcomed by Fulham fans, and not wholeheartedly welcomed by West Ham fans.
His role with the Hammers will be limited.
However, Nuno Espirito Santo will be hoping that he can prove some fans wrong and make the winger a great player once more.
