Arsenal’s best players from their memorable 2025/26 Premier League campaign, in which they lifted the English top-division title, were definitely a huge part for them finally ending their 22-year-long wait for the Premier League title.

It was an eventful season for Mikel Arteta’s side, and Arsenal’s best players were prolific in keeping them above the others to win their 14th top-division English title.

Arsenal were able to defeat Manchester City in the title race, finishing in first place with 85 points – a seven-point lead over Pep Guardiola’s side that finished in second place.

In doing so, the Gunners also ended their horrible run of finishing as the runners-up to the champions of the last three successive Premier League campaigns and ushered in a new era in the top flight.

In what was a really impressive campaign for the Gunners, Arsenal’s best players were able to perform at just a bit of a higher level than everyone else to inspire them to consistently win games and stay above the pecking order. Hence, here we’ll look at who were indeed the Gunners’ best players in their 2025/26 Premier League title-winning campaign.

2025/26 Arsenal’s Best Players: Declan Rice

It was in the 2025/26 Premier League that Declan Rice truly justified why Arsenal had broken their transfer record to sign him for well over £100 million from West Ham United a few years ago.

The English midfielder was definitely among Arsenal’s best players, being an absolutely unstoppable engine in the midfield that inspired energy onto his teammates and almost drove them forward towards success.

Rice was able to get nine goal contributions, four goals and five assists, in the Premier League campaign for Arsenal, with Declan Rice’s goals helping them win multiple games.

Declan Rice’s goals against the likes of Bournemouth and Burnley helped seal six crucial points for the Gunners, while the English midfielder was always a dogged, hard-working figure in the midfield.

In his 36 appearances, Rice completed over 2,100 passes as well as boasting 70 successful tackles and 145 duels won. His work all over the pitch helped him be among Arsenal’s best players in the 2025/26 Premier League and is a reason why some are calling him a contender to win the 2026 Ballon d’Or award.

2025/26 Arsenal’s Best Players: David Raya

One of the main reasons for Arsenal being able to win the 2025/26 Premier League title is that they have only conceded 27 goals across their 38 matches, the lowest for any team in the competition.

A key reason for that was the heroics of David Raya in goal, with David Raya’s saves often helping bail the Gunners out of tight situations and guiding them to important wins.

The Spaniard was able to keep 19 clean sheets in his 37 appearances across the campaign, winning his third-straight Premier League Golden Glove award.

David Raya’s saves saw him make 60 saves in the Premier League, and who can forget the Spanish goalkeeper’s amazing saves in Arsenal’s narrow win over West Ham United that helped them take a step closer to the title?

Raya was able to maintain amazing concentration all season long, with David Raya’s saves winning many crucial points for Arsenal and helping them end their Premier League drought.

2025/26 Arsenal’s Best Players: Gabriel Magalhaes

Gabriel Magalhaes was the commanding figure in the rock-solid Arsenal backline that helped inspire them to the 2025/26 Premier League title.

The Brazilian centre-back was pivotal in the Gunners’ keeping so many clean sheets, with Gabriel Magalhaes’ clearances and defensive work enabling him to motivate those around him.

Gabriel was also able to get seven goal contributions, which included three important goals he scored to convert Arsenal’s famous set-piece threat.

Gabriel Magalhaes’ clearances saw him often neutralise the opposition side’s attacking moves, while the Brazilian centre-back also won 171 duels as well as making 38 tackles and 23 interceptions.

Even though he had a bitter end to the 2025/26 season by missing a pivotal penalty in Arsenal’s loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the 2026 UEFA Champions League final, that doesn’t take away the fact that Gabriel was among Arsenal’s best players in their Premier League title-winning campaign, and it was his consistent performances that helped them grind through important victories.
