The Christos Tzolis transfer is on the verge of being completed, as the Greek international is Arsenal-bound after the departure of Leandro Trossard for Besiktas earlier this week.

The Greek started his youth career at PAOK and made his senior debut in the 1-0 loss to Olympiacos in the Greek League Play-Off Phase back in June 2020.

The 2020/21 season saw Tzolis break through into the PAOK first team, and 46 appearances later, the young Greek winger picked up 15 goals and six assists.
The then-19-year-old caught the eye of plenty of teams around Europe, including Borussia Dortmund, Sevilla and Manchester United.
However, it would be none of those teams that picked up the Greek youngster, and it was the newly promoted Norwich City that paid €11 million to secure his signature.

He returned with three goals from 15 appearances and played a further 13 games for Norwich for the remainder of that season in the Championship, notching the solitary goal.

In one season in the German Second Division, the Greek winger managed 22 goals and six assists as Fortuna Düsseldorf narrowly missed out on promotion to the Bundesliga.
The successful loan saw the Die Flingeraner sign the Greece international for €3.50 million, but that signing was very short-lived as a certain Belgian club swooped in.

Within three days of permanently signing for the German outfit, Club Brugge swooped in to sign the Greek winger for €6.50 million, and what a steal it turned out to be.
His first season in Belgium saw him hit new heights, as his market value started to rise following a campaign where he notched 21 goals and 14 assists, continuing his rise from the 2023/24 campaign.
The 2025/26 season was something else, however.
Tzolis not only bettered his goal tally by getting 22 goals, but also added 29 assists to take his total to 51 goal contributions from 52 games in all competitions.
The best player in the Belgian Pro League by a country mile, the Christos Tzolis transfer rumours were always going to be inevitable after such a stellar season.
To top off a great individual season, where he won the Belgian Pro League Player of the Year award, Club Brugge completed the double by winning the Belgian Pro League and also lifting the Belgian Super Cup.
