In a season where Internazionale Milano has utterly dominated Italian football, the Nerazzurri are a win away from their second Scudetto in four years. Standing in their way is their greatest rival, AC Milan, who will look to prolong the inevitable of Inter lifting the title.
After going on a run of seven consecutive wins in all competitions, Milan has had a rough patch. They have not won in three, losing twice to AS Roma in the UEFA Europa League quarterfinals. Now that they only have Serie A games from here until the end of the season, the Rossoneri will look to officially snap up a Champions League place for next season.
Their Serie A form is quite good though: they have not lost in seven league matches, winning five on the trot before last weekend’s stalemate at Sassuolo. A point in the Derby della Madonnina will see them secure Champions League football in the fall.

The Nerazzurri could end up with as many as 101 points, one less than Juventus did a decade ago. Should they win their remaining games, Inter could end up with 32 wins, again one less than the Juventus’ 2013/14 team. Thus, there is still something to play for from Inter’s perspective.
