The Evanilson form saw the Brazilian forward net yet another Premier League goal, taking his tally up to four for the season and getting his eighth goal contribution, as Bournemouth notched their sixth consecutive victory in all competitions. The Bournemouth vs Leeds United clash was always going to be a tightly contested affair between two solid teams, but with the good run of form of the Cherries, a home win was the more likely.

In the 2-0 win for the Cherries in the Bournemouth vs Leeds United clash, the Evanilson form continued in good vein as he scored in his fourth consecutive Premier League game. The 27-year-old striker has started the 2026/27 Premier League season in red-hot form after a sub-par last season. With more goal contributions already after nine games than he managed in the league last campaign, the Evanilson form has put the Brazilian among the most in-form players in the division.

Evanilson Form: Another Goal, Another Goal Contribution And Another Top Performance

After three assists from his opening four Premier League matches, the Evanilson form looked to be heading towards a more creative number nine rather than a goalscoring one. The Brazilian did hit the reset button in Bournemouth’s 5-1 loss to Chelsea and netted his first league goal of the season.

However, since that fixture, the Evanilson and Bournemouth form have gone hand in hand, as the Cherries have not lost since that heavy defeat against the Blues at the start of October. Also from that point, Bournemouth’s number nine has gone on an extrordinary goalscoring run, and no team has looked to slow the Brazilian down, apart from AC Milan in the UEFA Europa League.

In that string of games, the 27-year-old picked up two Man of the Match awards, against Sturm Graz in the UEFA Europa League and Sunderland in the Premier League. In the latter game, the Brazilian combined two of his greatest attributes, finishing and providing, as he scored and assisted for Bournemouth to beat the Black Cats 2-0.

After another goal in a 3-0 win over Manchester United last weekend, the Evanilson form looked to continue to hit new heights. In his debut Premier League season, the Brazilian striker managed to score in three consecutive league matches, something that he managed to match after the Cherries’ victory over the Red Devils. The 27-year-old looked to extend his goalscoring run in the Bournemouth vs Leeds United clash, a feat he managed to achieve just after half an hour.

An effective fox-in-the-box, Evanilson was able to score in his fourth consecutive league game. A poor mistake from James Trafford was seized upon by Justin Kluivert, who unselfishly squared the ball to Evanilson as the Brazilian slotted the ball into an empty net. Those two touches, the first to compose himself and the second to strike the ball into the goal, were the only two touches for the Brazilian inside the opposition penalty box.

His best goalscoring run in the Premier League, the most goal contributions for Bournemouth in the league and the best average rating in the Cherries’ squad. The Evanilson form has proven that last season, when Eli Junior Kroupi stole all the headlines, the Brazilian was underutilised. Now starring as Bournemouth’s starting striker, the 28-year-old has taken the opportunity with both hands and has rewarded manager Marco Rose with bags of goals and assists that have lifted the Cherries into seventh in the Premier League.

Extra Time Notes

The Evanilson form has been spectacular and has gone hand in hand with the exceptional form of the Cherries in all competitions. Recording their sixth consecutive victory, Marco Rose has turned early season worries into belief that this campaign can be a success for the team from the South Coast.

After a successful sixth place finish in the Premier League last season, the Cherries look to go one better and establish themselves as an unlikely candidate for a place in the top five. However, with the flying Arsenal and Manchester City alongside the high-scoring Brighton & Hove Albion, the Cherries are in a heated battle with several teams for a spot in the top five.

Three points away from Liverpool in fifth, the Cherries have a chance to close that gap even further as they face newly-promoted Ipswich Town at Portman Road. The Tractor Boys will be no pushover, with Gary O’Neil’s side only a point away from Bournemouth. With seventh to 16th separated by only three points, wins and consistency will be the key between now and the rest of the season.

The Evanilson form will also look to continue in the same vein. After four consecutive games in the goals, can the Brazilian make it five-in-a-row and will his goals continue to fire Bournemouth to key victories?
