It has been a roller-coaster of a season in Florence, as Fiorentina started off the campaign in such impressive form. However, La Viola were not able to maintain that start, and now sit eighth in the Serie A. They were also dumped out of the Coppa Italia last week by Atalanta. It has been 32 years since Club Brugge last graced the semifinals of a European club competition. Club has seen a resurgence in recent times since sacking Ronny Deila at the conclusion of the Belgian regular season.
