Harry Kane has finally done it. The captain of the English national team, who will turn 32 this year, has won the Bundesliga title with Bayern Munich, thereby ending his long quest for a title.
Kane regularly finished inside the top four with Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League and also managed to reach the UEFA Champions League final once.
He also reached two back-to-back European Championships finals with the Three Lions, but England were beaten by Italy and Spain, respectively, to finish runners-up on both occasions.
However, he was not able to win any silverware during his decade-long stint at Tottenham. He got frustrated last season at Bayern as well, as Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen won their first-ever Bundesliga title.
Fortunately, Bayern made amends this year by winning their 34th Bundesliga title, as Kane secured his first-ever winner’s medal.
Harry Kane Has Been Very Prolific for Bayern Munich
Kane’s stats for Bayern are pretty much Erling Haaland-esque.
Kane has scored 80 goals in 89 matches for the German giants so far. After joining Bayern in 2023, he won the European Golden Shoe last year and is in the contention of doing so yet again this year.
Kane has scored 36 goals this season, which puts him behind only Robert Lewandowski, who has scored 40 times for Barcelona, and tied with Kylian Mbappe, who has also scored 36 goals for Real Madrid.
Kane also has 10 assists to his name this season, which only reaffirms his status as one of the most well-rounded strikers in Europe.

A Star-Studded Team
Bayern Munich have an enviable attack also comprising Leroy Sane, Serge Gnabry, Kingsley Coman, Jamal Musiala and Thomas Muller and it has only made Kane’s job easier.
However, despite the triumph in the Bundesliga, the inability to win the Champions League for the second successive season must have hurt Kane.
Bayern lost to Inter Milan in the quarter-finals this season, but their former manager, Hansi Flick, is still in contention to win his second UCL title as a manager for Barcelona.
Flick won his first Champions League as a manager in 2020 with Bayern. The Bavarians have not reached a Champions League final since, but with Kane in their team, will try to make amends by winning the title within the next couple of seasons.
Kane’s contract with Bayern expires in 2027 and he is expected to see through it at the moment.
With a young manager like Vincent Kompany in charge of the team, the English captain will dream of winning his first European trophy as a player for the German heavyweights.
