Lazio midfield-dynamo Sergej Milinkovic Savic has sparked a bidding war among European top-flights.
According to reports, in the Premier League Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham are looking to secure his services. Some teams in France and Spain are also in want of the Serbian.
The Midfielder is in search of a new challenge, after spending over five trophyless years in Lazio.
Sought-after in England
Manchester United are in search of a midfielder with physicality. Although Frenchman Paul Pogba provides such, the unpredictability of Pogba has been disturbing for United’s board. United are reportedly looking to secure the services of Savic in-case Pogba leaves.
Chelsea has been linked with several mid-fielders in Europe. However, so far Frank Lampard’s midfield has lacked top-notch physicality and precision. The London side is in line to add suchlike quality to the team.
Tottenham would have to dig out funds to compete for his signature, as boss Mourinho is a huge fan of physical players.
Sought-after in France
The Serbian man is set to be amongst Europe’s hottest properties when the transfer window reopens.
In France, PSG is also making inquires about the player. The sporting director of PSG has been a passionate admirer of the Serbian.

Milinkovic Savic is a complete midfielder, with the ability to make transitions from attack to defence. He is a midfielder full of strength, precise, stamina and superb technique.
He posseses the ability to provide majestic defensive cover and offers a lot going forward as well.
Arrival Into European Scene
Savic came into the limelight after a wonderful display in the U20 world cup. His fantastic show earned him a move to Belgium top-flights Genk.
After a superb season with Genk, he was quickly signed by Lazio in the Serie A. His topnotch performances ultimately earned him a regular shirt at Lazio.
His current contract runs till 2024. However, due to the impact COVID-19 pandemic on Italy, Lazio may be pressured into listening to offers for the Serbian.
