Six free players that clubs should consider acquiring

The end of this season has caused players to be out on contract from their various clubs. Out of all free players, below are six players that should be considered by top teams.

Edinson Cavani

The Uruguayan who has scored over 300 goals in his career became a free agent after an illustrious time with PSG. The 33-year-old who ended as PSG all-time scorer is looking for a new club to represent. Cavani who is a proven goalscorer will be expected to hit the ground running for any team he features for. With a lot of teams still after his signature, we are sure to see more of this deadly striker.

Jan Vertonghen

The 33-year-old defender has been a stalwart for Tottenham for eight years. After the expiration of his contract, the Belgian is now without a club. With 69 tackles and 106 pass interception last season, the defender still shows he is quality. With Roma among others linked to Vertonghen, we are to expect more quality oozing out of him.

Malang Sarr

A very bright youngster who is has been making the headlines is also a free agent to consider. After playing over 100 games for Nice, the 21-year-old decided not to renew his contract. With the future still bright for the defender, a lot of clubs are looking for Sarr’s signature with the most reputable being Arsenal.

Ryan Fraser

The Scottish winger announced he will leave Bournemouth at the end of his contract with the club. The 26-year-old man is undoubted of immense quality casting us back to when he recorded 14 assists. Now a free agent, couple of Premier League teams seem to be interested in Fraser’s signature.

Mario Gotze

World cup winner Mario Gotze is also without a club after Dortmund announced his departure. The 28-year-old who has over 150 goals contribution in his career is now available for any club. Gotze is of no doubt a quality player. And without any injury concern, he will perform at the top level for any team.

David Silva

Arguably the best Spanish player in the Premier League. Silva is of no doubt of immense quality on and off the pitch. He has scored 112 goals and provided 173 assists in the course of his career. After announcing his departure for Man City, the next club to acquire the Spaniard should be sure of quality in their team.
