Top 3 Manchester United Transfer Targets

It’s been a rollercoaster ride for Manchester United fans as they have shown bits of excellence against teams such as Tottenham, Manchester City, Chelsea, and Liverpool. However, the team has faltered in seemingly simpler matches against opponents such as Crystal Palace, Watford, and Bournemouth. For a chance at next year’s Champions League, fans have called out to the Board to freshen the team.

1) Bruno Fernandes

Bruno Fernandes is off to a flier in Portugal, being involved in 15 goals in 15 matches (8 goals and 7 assists), which is more than what Andreas Pereira and Jesse Lingard have been involved in for the past two seasons together. His creativity and the ability to find a teammate anywhere on the pitch are what makes United interested in him. They also have an edge over the competition as they have great relations with Sporting, having earlier done business (Ronaldo, Nani).

2)Raul Jimenez

Raul Jimenez, the Mexican stalwart playing for Wolves, is enjoying the season with 8 goals and 6 assists. He has played a crucial role in keeping Wolves afloat in the Premier League with 21 goals so far with them across one and a half seasons. Right now, United are in search for an out-and-out striker especially after losing out on Haaland. with Martial currently occupying the role. They also lack an aerial threat in the box. Jimenez is a prolific striker capable of getting 15 goals a season and would be a good buy for United.

3)James Maddison

James Maddison is currently one of the most wanted midfielders in the Premier League right now. He has been a salient feature in Leicester”s squad with 6 goals and 3 assists. United require an attacking midfielder with Pogba, and Mctominay out of action. However, Maddison will not come cheap as Leicester do not want to sell him, especially mid-season.

The chances of United signing any of these players is high, but will require them to spend big on them.. If United land even one of them, it will bolster their chances of playing in Europe.
