Tottenham comes into the game after their 2-1 win over Burnley to get back to winning ways after a dreadful run of games. Tuesday’s game gives them the chance to seal at least fifth spot in the Premier League and therefore a spot in the UEFA Europa League next. Hopes of Champions League are out of their hands now, but if they can beat City and then Sheffield United, while Aston Villa loses at Crystal Palace, Spurs will end up in fourth spot.

Since then, the Cityzens have registered five wins on the bounce in which they have managed to keep four clean sheets.
It is hard to see this team that has proven to be time and time again they get the results in the final run-in drop points so close to the finish line. However, if there is one game Pep Guardiola would love to avoid in this situation it is Tottenham away. They have faced each other four times in the Premier League with Spurs coming out on top in every one of them, and leaving Manchester City scoreless in each game.
