It was month full of cheer for West Ham United after grabbing seven points out of nine. However, it was a dreadful four weeks for Jose Mourinho with the Portuguese coming under even more pressure. Here is the Premier League monthly fan view, this time featuring West Ham, Spurs and Manchester United.
West Ham in Full Flow and Jose Mourinho Under Pressure
West Ham United
West Ham’s start to the season could have not been worse. They lost their first four games as well as scoring just two goals and conceding ten. However, there has been new life breathed into the club after the international break. Many Hammer fans would have thought the worse after seeing their next three games against Arsenal, Manchester United and Everton. Grabbing Seven points from a possible nine has shown the revival along with beating Macclesfield 8-0 in the Carabao Cup.
West Ham fans – after losing four in a row to start the season to getting seven points out of nine against Everton, Chelsea, and United – enjoy every moment. You deserve it and then some.

Tottenham Hotspur
Nine from nine was Tottenham’s best start to a Premier League season under Mauricio Pochettino. However, it turned sour pretty quickly after losing three games on the bounce, especially conceding two goals in the last five minutes against Inter Milan. Despite a dreadful start to September, Spurs fans have seen a quick turnaround after winning three games in one week. They beat Brighton at The Amex and Watford in the Carabao Cup at Stadium MK. Spurs fans are not overall impressed with the team’s performance but still acknowledge they are in the top four along with Harry Kane back scoring once again.
– Three points secured
– We move back into the Top 4 of the Premier League
– Harry Kane is the joint top scorer in the Premier League
– That is our 4th away win of the season out of 5
– Clean sheet for Paulo Gazzaniga
– Superb performance from Davidson Sanchez— Lilywhite Rose (@lilywhite_rose) 29 September 2018
Manchester United
Jose Mourinho third season syndrome is in full force after one of the worst starts in their Premier League history. Now the Portuguese has apparently lost the dressing room when falling to their third defeat. Their loss against West Ham United, especially, has really taken a toll on Mourinho with him facing the sack if they fail to pick up points soon. Manchester United fans are starting to lose patience with them now calling for Mourinho to be out.
So many United fans waking up today saying they’ve tried their best to back Mourinho but when the writing is on the wall you’ve got to do what’s best for the club. Sad but true. Shame we don’t have owners who feel the same#MUFC
