Liverpool visits London to face West Ham on Saturday. The Reds may have already lost the title, but until it becomes official, they have to keep on fighting.
The red suffered a demoralizing 2- 0 defeat against Everton in the Merseyside Derby that leaves their title chances hanging by a thread. They now need Manchester City to drop six points and Arsenal five and still go ahead and win all their remaining matches.
April has been a disastrous month for Liverpool, getting knocked out of the Europa League by Atalanta and losing crucial points in the league. In the five league games this month they were just able to score 7 out of 15 possible points not near enough for a title run-in. The two defeats this month against Crystal Palace and Everton represent the same amount as in the previous 30 games played this season.
The Hammers are also in a bad spell at the moment. Failing to progress in the Europa League against Bayer Leverkusen by 3-1 in aggregate, they also suffered a crushing 5-2 defeat against Crystal Palace that took just over 30 minutes to be 4-0 up. On the bright side, they at least did not play midweek, giving them more rest than Liverpool.
West Ham is just outside the European spots but, only has four games left to play. That gives their rivals have the upper hand on points and more remaining matches. They face an extremely tough final fixture including Liverpool, Manchester City and their direct rival Chelsea.

Liverpool to win at 1.53
Liverpool fans may feel disappointed by the points dropped in the past few games, but the team has the obligation to win all the remaining games to avoid any more future regrets in case their rivals go on to drop points.
The Reds have come out on top in their last five meeting against West Ham including two comfortable wins this season by 3-1 in the reverse fixture, and 5-1 in the EFL Cup. The only question is if this Liverpool team will find a response after such a heavy defeat.
