Sancho’s Next Destination?
Jadon Sancho has revealed that he wants to leave Dortmund in the summer but where will he be going? The most likely destination is Manchester United as they have shown the most interest. They have been made even more likely by rivals Chelsea signing their own superstar from Ajax so that gets rid of most of their interest. Sancho would bring a lot to any team as he is only 19 and is already ripping up the Bundesliga with 12 goals and 13 assists in an amazing 19 appearances.
Could he make it in the Premier League?
He can. His skills are unbelievable. He is an unstoppable force at times despite his age, that leaves many wondering how long it will take to reach his full potential. By the end of his career, he has the potential to be up there with the greats. But at which club he will ply his trade remains a mystery. The only certainty is that he won’t soon be going back to his old club Manchester City.
His Past in Manchester
Sancho came up through the Manchester City Academy. He joined at the age of 14 and by the age of 17, he was one of City’s stars at the time along with Phil Foden and Brahim Diaz. He became unhappy at City when he wasn’t getting the playing time he thought he deserved which has turned out so far to be a good call, turning down a pro contract for City in the process. He saw how Dortmund had brought up a lot of great players in the past and he thought that was the best place for him and remains there to this day.
