Injury and Suspension Updates to Note

Bukayo Saka’s availability for the London derby against Chelsea is yet to be confirmed, with the winger seeming to have picked up an injury during last weekend’s other London derby against Tottenham.

With a back injury, Liverpool’s Florian Wirtz will not feature against West Ham in Gameweek 28.

Chelsea captain Reece James is likely to be available for selection against Arsenal, while Estevao is still a doubt following a hamstring injury. After receiving two yellow cards against Burnley last time out, Wesley Fofana will miss out on the London derby, but will be back in action to face Aston Villa.

      Must-Have FPL Picks

Aston Villa have an away game against Wolves, in which they are likely to leave the Molineux with three points in their push for a strong top-four finish. Morgan Rogers (£7.7m), Ollie Watkins (£8.6m), Matty Cash (£4.9m) and Emi Martinez (£5.1m) are strong picks from Unai Emery’s side.

Manchester United host Crystal Palace in Gameweek 28. Seemingly revived and threatening again, the Red Devils should continue to do well under Michael Carrick. Best FPL options for this fixture include Bruno Fernandes (£9.9m), Bryan Mbeumo (£8.7m), Cunha (£8.0m), Casemiro (£5.6m) and super sub Benjamin Sesko (£7.2m).

Travelling to Leeds are Manchester City. Considering both sides’ recent form and all throughout the season, the final result will be no easy call. However, FPL managers still have a good roster for the fixture – from City, Antoine Semenyo (£8.1m), Erling Haaland (£14.8m), Nico O’Reilly (£5.0m), and Donnarumma (£5.6m), and from Leeds, Dominic Calvert-Lewin (£5.8m), Ethan Ampadu (£4.9m) and Anton Stach (£4.7m)

Big London derby once again, but this time it’s Arsenal vs Chelsea in their fourth clash against each other this season. Pick defenders at your own risk, especially Chelsea ones (this is painful to write). While Cole Palmer (£10.6m) and Joao Pedro (£7.7m) are the most in-form players on FPL, pick them at your own risk. Arsenal’s Viktor Gyokeres meanwile stands as a strong option, coming off the back of two goals against Tottenham last weekend, and a goal and assist against Chelsea this season already.

Other Fantasy Football Matchweek 28 must-haves include Brentford’s Igor Thiago (£7.0m) and Dango Ouattara (£5.9m) and Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk (£6.0m) and Hugo Ekitike (£8.9m).
