The Barcelona La Liga title is almost certain for Hansi Flick’s side, as goals from Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres earned the Blaugrana a 2-1 win over Osasuna.

The victory more or less confirmed that the La Liga title race tipped in Barcelona’s favour, with Barca at the top of the table, 14 points clear of Real Madrid in second, who have a game in hand.

Even with players like Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, and Frenkie de Jong either injured or on the bench, Flick’s side proved that they always prevail in the end.

With Barca’s two goals coming in the last 10 minutes, it shows the mentality that the German head coach has instilled into his side, as they chase down yet another Barcelona La Liga title.

As Real Madrid play their game in hand late this evening, only a Los Blancos win would extend the La Liga title race. Should Álvaro Arbeloa’s side draw or lose, the La Liga title will be Barcelona’s with four games to spare.

Barcelona La Liga Title: Robert Lewandowski Still Doing The Business At 37

At the age of 37, Robert Lewandowski is still one of Barcelona’s star players, nearing 20 goals for the season in all competitions for the Blaugrana.

The Polish forward has been an unstoppable goalscorer wherever he goes to play his football, and the Barcelona fans will miss him dearly when he decides to leave.

However, his wonderful header, following a fantastic assist from Marcus Rashford, gave Barca the lead against Osasuna, something they held onto until the end of the match.

In addition to that, with that goal, Barcelona’s number nine ended his five-game goal drought and scored arguably one of the most important goals in Barca’s season.

He may not be Barcelona’s top goalscorer this season, but his 13 goals in La Liga, along with his goals in other competitions, have helped Flick’s side on their way to a successful domestic season.

With his days numbered in a Barcelona shirt, Lewandowski has not yet made his decision about whether he will stay or leave the club; however, no matter what happens, the Pole will go down as a Barca great.

Barcelona La Liga Title: Super-Sub Ferran Torres Puts Barca On The Brink Of Title

A player who has been working hard in the background and making the most of his opportunities when they are presented to him has been Ferran Torres.

The ex-Valencia and Manchester City winger has found himself as a rotation player due to the sheer amount of quality in Barcelona’s front line.

In the Osasuna clash, Ferran Torres found himself on the bench, but came on just after the hour mark to make a stamp on the game as he usually does from the bench.

In the 86th minute, that moment came as the Spaniard netted Barca’s second, and what would turn out to be the winner in the Barcelona La Liga title hunt.

The winger has netted 15 La Liga goals this season, the second top goalscorer in the Barcelona squad behind Lamine Yamal, who has netted 16 goals in the league.

In 30 league appearances, Torres has only managed to play a full 90 minutes five times, but scoring an impressive 15 league goals is a great achievement, which has capped his best goalscoring season.

His part in the Barcelona La Liga title squad will certainly not go under the radar, as Ferran Torres’ super-sub qualities have been a brilliant asset to the Blaugrana’s star-studded attack.
