Savinho could be making his way to Tottenham very soon, as the Brazilian winger has agreed personal terms with the English club. The transfer fee for Savinho to Tottenham could total up to €100 million, which would make the forward Manchester City’s highest transfer sale, with Alvarez’s deal coming in behind.

Roberto De Zerbi has been in contact with Savinho, as the player is extremely eager to join the Italian manager. Savinho didn’t play many minutes under Pep Guardiola, and although he featured in all of City’s matches under Enzo Maresca, the player isn’t confident in being a starter when the season kicks off.

The Savinho to Tottenham deal will see the ex-Girona forward in a six-year stint with the club, after City bags their €93.3m upfront fee. City will also pocket €5.m in add-ons if Savinho were to play to a certain level.

With his medical set to be booked once club-to-club agrees, Wayne Rooney has this to say on the Savinho to Tottenham deal:

” What Spurs are building is incredible; it’s quite unbelievable that no one is talking about it. They survived relegation with the help of Roberto De Zerbi, and somehow they are getting good players.”

Savinho in the 2025/2026 Premier League Season only netted one goal and provided two assists, although he scored four goals in all competitions. Since he arrived at City, he has managed to find the back of the net seven times in 84 appearances.

Why Savinho To Tottenham Isn’t The Only Big Hit

Savinho to Tottenham isn’t the big deal Spurs have carried out this summer.

Tottenham have sealed the deal for Tonali (who was once a Manchester United target) for an estimated fee of £100 million in July. They’ve also signed Marcos Senesi from Bournemouth, Van Hecke from Brighton, Dubravka, Matheus Fernandes, and Andy Robertson on a free transfer from Liverpool.

Tottenham are also making a move to renew the contract of Pedro Porro, amidst trying to pen down the signature of Omar Marmoush from Man City and Cody Gakpo from Liverpool.

In the words of Paul Merson:

“What Tottenham are building is incredible. It’s unbelievable that more people aren’t talking about it. They avoided relegation with Roberto De Zerbi’s help, and somehow they’re still managing to bring in quality players.”

Tottenham are planning to make a big mark in the Premier League, as next season returns.

Have Manchester City Found The Perfect Replacement For Savinho?

With the Savinho to Tottenham deal almost gaining ground, City are on the lookout for who could best replace the left-footed winger. City are acting fast, as the transfer window will soon be shut, and have identified Allan Elias from Palmeiras as a priority.

City has informally discussed with Palmeiras a move for the Brazilian winger, although the club has stated he is not for sale. However, the club has informed City that if a deal were to go through, the player is valued at €40 million, although he has a €100 million release clause.

Manchester City believe they can still sign the player without necessarily paying that huge fee as a release clause. And lately, the one-time Champions League winners are making a move to negotiate the price.

David Ornstein reports Allan Elias would be delighted to join Manchester City, although City hasn’t made formal contact with the player. However, talks will only continue if Palmeiras agrees to cut the cost of the transfer fee.

If that doesn’t work out, City can stick with playing Antoine Semenyo or Ryan McAdoo on the right wing, with Jeremy Doku taking the left wing. It all depends on what Enzo Maresca and his game play, and if the Manchester City board sees the need to include a new winger in their team.
