The Gunners seem to be looking at a harsh ending to a good year. However, the final day should not be any different to the rest of the season. They will have to focus on beating Everton and see what occurs at the Etihad. The only situation that could leave a disappointing feeling would be to fail to win at home and see Manchester City lose points as well.
Arsenal has been outstanding during the whole of 2024. It has often talked about the strength and consistency of Manchester City in the final stretch of the season, but Arteta’s side has nothing to envy this time. They managed to win 15 out of the last 17 Premier League games since January, only dropping points in a 0-0 draw against City at the Etihad, and a very costly 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa at home.
Missing out on the Premier League after such an extraordinary campaign is very harsh. We have seen it happen with Liverpool a few years ago, but at the end of the day, it is very difficult to stop Manchester City. Besides the pain of possibly missing out on the prize for the second year running, it is clear this year the team has taken a step forward and ended on a much more positive note than last season.
Everton has completed a great season, all things considered. They confirmed their maintenance on 27 April with more than three games to spare. Moreover, it is crucial to mention the eight-point deduction for a breach of Financial Fair Play. Without the sanction, they could have finished inside the top half.

Arsenal vs Everton Prediction
Arsenal win at 1.20
As mentioned before, Arteta’s side has been exceptional during the last six months. A title could still come their way they deserve to end a fantastic season at home with a win in front of their fans. An Everton side with virtually nothing to play for should be no match for a Premier League champion-calibre team.
Arsenal vs Everton Tips
Both teams to score, no at 1.80
Whether they end up as champions or not, there is no doubt Arsenal has been the best defensive side in the Premier League. Manchester City has conceded 33 goals until now, the exact same amount as last season. However, Arsenal has conceded just 28, the fewest in the league and 15 less than last year’s 43.
