It will be a game with no impact the final Premier League standings, but one that will always be remembered. Sunday will be an emotional goodbye to Anfield for one of the most important Liverpool managers in history. Klopp arrived at the club in October 2015, and and has since then led the team back to the highest level, achieving the club’s first Premier League title.

This Premier League era will always be remembered for Manchester City’s dominance under Pep Guardiola. Unfortunately for Liverpool fans but luckily for the rest of the spectators around the world, these two managers were contemporaneous and created a rivalry at the level of Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Even though it is hard to believe the Reds just managed to win one Premier League title, finishing in second with campaigns of 97 and 92 points, they got their deserved reward in the 2019/20 season. Time will give this achievement the value it deserves, especially since it came against a team that won five out of the last six Premier Leagues and is close to making it six out of seven on Sunday.

The last season was not the best of endings but it will have no impact on the Klopp’s fantastic legacy at Liverpool. The German managed to win all major trophies during his Liverpool stint: Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, EFL Cup, UEFA Super Cup, Club World Cup One and Community Shield.

His side has been of the best teams of recent times that unfortunately could not collect the amount of silverware they deserved mainly due to Manchester City in England and Real Madrid in the Champions League, betting them twice in the final.

Wolves will look to finish the 2023/24 season on a high note. They can still finish in the top half, although that now looks rather unlikely. Nevertheless, they have done very well to earn a respectable 46 points, 20 more than the relegated Luton Town.

Liverpool vs Wolverhampton Prediction

Liverpool win at 1.18

The Reds should close off an era with a positive result even though it will only be anecdotal. They have been the strongest team in the league playing at home, collecting 45 points, with a 14-3-1 record. The five encounters between them at Anfield with Klopp in charge of the Reds always resulted in a Liverpool win.

Liverpool vs Wolverhampton Tips

Both teams to score at 1.66

The main issue Liverpool faced in the last run of games this season was the ability to keep a clean sheet. The Reds have not been able to keep a clean sheet in their last 10 Premier League games.
