Fulham vs Manchester United: Casemiro’s Form Stands Out Again As The Red Devils Are Victorious Again

Once again, Casemiro’s form shone through in the Fulham vs Manchester United game.

A win for the Red Devils moved them up to the fourth position in the Premier League table, and it was also the third consecutive Manchester United win under the stewardship of interim manager Michael Carrick.

However, the Red Devils’ win in the Fulham vs Manchester United match did not come without a struggle as they needed a last-gasp goal from Benjamin Sesko to win the match.

However, Casemiro’s form once again shone as the Brazilian came up with an exceptional performance to fashion the 3-2 win.

Fulham vs Manchester United: Casemiro’s Form Continues To Improve Game On Game

Casemiro’s form was once again evident in Manchester United’s win over Fulham.

The 34-year-old Brazilian now has five goals and two assists in 23 matches for United this season, which is not at all a bad return for a defensive midfielder.

Casemiro has been on a strong run of form and stood out with his performance in the win against Manchester City in the Manchester Derby not too long ago.

He has regularly featured in the double-pivot and broken up many attacks. Admittedly, his legs have grown old, but having a much younger partner in Kobbie Mainoo helps his cause a lot.

It is not a surprise that Casemiro’s form has further improved after Mainoo’s return to the starting lineup since the arrival of Carrick at the club.

Mainoo very rarely started under Ruben Amorim, as Casemiro had a more creative partner in Bruno Fernandes in the midfield.

However, the Brazilian more than justified his inclusion in the starting lineup with his grit and passion.

Aside from thwarting the opposition’s moves in the midfield, Casemiro also continues to pose a considerable threat from set-pieces with his ability to score headed goals.

Casemiro’s form was once again at the forefront as he scored the first goal in the Fulham vs Manchester United game, and confirmed his status as one of the Premier League’s most reliable midfielders.

Casemiro’s Form: Why Is The Brazilian Not Getting The Same Praise That Declan Rice Does?

Casemiro is probably not getting as much praise as Declan Rice does, but that’s due to the Englishman being one of the biggest focus points in the Gunners’ rise to the top of the table.

The Brazilian enjoyed a fantastic stint with Real Madrid, but has been hit and miss in his 148 appearances for the Red Devils since then.

After a brilliant debut season in England, his performances declined ever so slightly in the last couple of seasons.

With that being said, he has found his groove yet again this season and has been instrumental in United’s pursuit of a spot in the UEFA Champions League next season.

The Brazilian will leave United at the end of the current season, and it won’t be an easy task for the Red Devils to fill in the void.

As of now, it remains to be seen whether the Red Devils are able to replace him properly.

That should not be any concern for Casemiro himself, though, as he will look to continue his good run for the club as long as he is there.
