Recently, Fulham have undergone a positive run of form, with many players catching the eye. However, Harry Wilson’s form has been noted by many fans as being a cut above the rest, with some noting a strong run of assists and goals.
Harry Wilson’s Form: The Welshman’s Growth Before Now
Although Harry Wilson’s form is only catching the eye of many fans now, and rightly so, the Welshman has always boasted a high level of technical ability and quality, particularly with his left foot.
Wilson has played at several clubs following his departure from Liverpool, including AFC Bournemouth, Cardiff City and Derby County, mostly in the EFL Championship.
Harry Wilson’s form was particularly first notable at Derby, where the player played in an exciting team alongside the likes of Fikayo Tomori and Mason Mount. The Welshman played a pivotal role that season, as the side qualified for the play-offs, producing a famous second leg defeat Leeds at Elland Road, before a narrow defeat to Aston Villa in the final.
After his loan spell with Cardiff City, and a frequent number of other loan spells, Harry Wilson looked to secure a permanent move and opted to join Fulham, under the stewardship of Marco Silva, who had recently joined the side following relegation.
Harry Wilson’s form was noted as top-class by many in his first season with the club, as Fulham had a memorable promotion campaign under Marco Silva. Although he was rightly overshadowed by 43-goal striker Aleksander Mitrovic, Wilson was still able to contribute with 31 goal contributions, including a staggering 20 assists.
Since then, Fulham have retained their Premier League status, and Harry Wilson has contributed somewhat in a varying number of matches for the player. His best season in terms of goal contributions in the Premier League for Fulham before now was in the 2023/24 season, with five goals and nine assists.
Harry Wilson’s Form Now: The Best in His Career?
At the time of writing, Wilson currently sits on seven goals and four assists in the Premier League. Since November, his goal contributions have only been bettered by Erling Haaland for Manchester City and Igor Thiago for Brentford.
Harry Wilson’s form currently has been labelled by his manager Marco Silva as the best in his career, with Silva indicating that most of Wilson’s touches often lead to a positive outcome.
While Harry Wilson’s technical ability has previously been hailed, many have further noted his technical ability with regard to his goal contributions. When Fulham played against Crystal Palace at home in the Premier League, his trivela finish caught the eye of many, as well as an assist against Middlesbrough in the FA Cup, utilising the outside of his boot to find Kevin, who was able to turn home.

What’s Next For Harry Wilson?
With his contract expiring in the summer, the future remains unclear for Harry Wilson. However, Harry Wilson’s form is such that various clubs may be after the player should he opt to not continue with Fulham.
At the age of 28, Harry Wilson’s form has peaked as the player has entered his prime years, indicating that the player may have earned a higher salary wherever he ends up. Should he opt not to continue with Fulham, Whites fans will be dismayed at losing the player on a free, with the potential for a high valuation.
Should Harry Wilson opt to continue with Fulham, many Fulham fans will be hoping that the player continues with his impressive form. The likes of Samuel Chukwueze and Kevin have been kept out the side by Wilson and offer great ability, indicating that Wilson has been playing quality football and will need to keep producing to retain his place in the side.
