The second of January’s big money moves arrived later on in the transfer window, as Liverpool acquired the services of Jeremy Jacquet from Stade Rennais.
With some questions over Ibrahima Konate’s performances this season, a move for Jacquet seems unsurprising.
At the age of 20, Jeremy Jacquet has registered an average rating of 7.01 this season as per Sofascore, and has performed admirably, asserting himself as one of January’s big money moves.
Jacquet has won 76% of his aerial duels this season, as well as 61% of his ground duels, and 4.2 ball recoveries per match. His side, Stade Rennais, currently sit sixth in Ligue 1, looking to pressurise the teams above.
Although Jacquet may take some time to adapt to the Premier League, the player is talented, and, under the mentorship of Virgil van Dijk, he should further his career and become another positive signing within January’s big-money moves.
Jorgen Strand Larsen Lands At Crystal Palace
