They are currently on eight consecutive games without defeat, a clear demonstration that they have overcome their irregularities, letting them back in the fight for European football.

In recent years, Manchester City has been an especially hard opponent for the Blues. They have not won a game against them in their last eight encounters with a pair of draws and six losses. A stat that always brings a nice memory for all the Chelsea fans since their last win came in the 2020/21 UCL final.
