Erling Haaland’s brace in the Man City vs Bournemouth game was decisive in the 3-1 win on Sunday, November 2. The match was dominated by the Cityzens, but it was Haaland once again, who made the difference.
Haaland has a fantastic 17 goals in only 13 matches for Manchester City this season so far. The 25-year-old Norwegian striker is by far the highest goal-scorer in the Premier League now, and his form is the x-factor Man City are having. Pep Guardiola’s men are second in the Premier League title now with 19 points in 10 matches, which is six less than Arsenal’s tally.
Arsenal Are the Favourites To Win the Premier League Title
Arsenal have come close to winning the Premier League title repeatedly in the past, but have been thwarted by Manchester City. The Gunners probably have the most complete squad in the Premier League at the moment and have been clinical in their approach.
In Viktor Gyokeres, Arsenal have a No. 9 they had been sorely missing until the end of last season. Gyokeres has scored six goals in 14 matches this season to prove that his addition has been a really good one for them.
The Gunners have a really deep squad, with multiple quality players in almost each position. Bukayo Saka has now made a return to action from injury, but Martin Odegaard is still sidelined. Martin Zubimendi and Declan Rice have also played their part well in midfield.
Odegaard’s return will make the Gunners even stronger and will give their title challenge further impetus.

Erling Haaland’s Brace in Man City vs Bournemouth Win Is a Threat to Arsenal
Erling Haaland’s brace in the Man City vs Bournemouth 3-1 game once again showed why he is the man the Gunners should fear the most. Mikel Arteta’s men must be desperate for a title triumph this season after spending the last five seasons without one.
Liverpool have lost four Premier League matches in a row, which has put their title defence off track a bit. The Reds are third in the league table with 18 points from 10 matches.
They can still make a surge forward, especially if Arsenal’s form drops, but, at the moment, it seems that Haaland is the only man who can seriously threaten the Gunners.
If Haaland is able to continue in this vein, the Cityzens should be able to continue their winning run, which has seen them win four of their last five league matches. Their other attacking players are not performing very well, but Haaland’s presence alone is sufficient to ensure victories for his team.
At the moment, the Gunners should fear the Norwegian international the most as an obstacle to their path to Premier League glory. Haaland’s from means that Arsenal cannot afford to take it easy in any of their upcoming matches. If they drop points, Man City will always be in a position to catch up by reducing the gap.
Now, it remains to be seen whether the prolific striker is able to stop the North Londoners from winning their first Premier League title in more than two decades.
