The Nico Paz form for Como 1907, has been great this season. Como have qualified for the UEFA Champions League for the first time in their history by finishing fourth in the Serie A table. Nico Paz’ form for Como has helped manager Cesc Fabregas a lot to achieve that objective.
Paz is a former Real Madrid player and has now spent two seasons at Como. The Nico Paz form has seen him gain prominence, and many clubs might be willing to sign him ahead of next season.
Nico Paz Form Has Seen Him Grab a Lot of Goals and Assists
Paz has scored 13 goals in 40 matches for Como this season and has also registered six assists for them. The Nico Paz form has helped Como maintain their position in the top four and emerge as one of the surprise packages of the season.
Earlier, Paz played in only eight matches for Real Madrid in the 2023/24 season and scored a solitary goal for them. The 21-year-old Argentine was then signed by Como, and the Italian club has benefited considerably from the signing.
Fabregas was himself a midfielder, and therefore, it has been easy for him to work with Paz.
The Argentine is a very skilful player and has an eye for the goal, too. He has a good shot on him and is always a threat to the opposition defence.
No midfielder in Serie A has scored as many goals in the league this season as Paz (12). Scott McTominay of Napoli, who played a key role in winning the league title for Napoli last season, is the next best with 11 goals.

Will Paz Go Back To Real Madrid?
Real Madrid are reportedly keen on signing Paz back. However, the Argentine attacking midfielder has not made any commitment in this regard yet. Still, if Real come up with a lucrative offer, Paz might find it really difficult to resist.
However, going to Real Madrid might mean that Paz will not get enough game time. With the likes of Arda Guler, Federico Valverde and Brahim Diaz already being there in the midfield, Paz should find it difficult to make the playing XI.
As a result, staying at Como seems to be a good idea for him, because he will be able to play in the Champions League next season as well. Having another solid season will also enable him to further increase his market value as a player, and then he can always make a move to a bigger club.
The Nico Paz form means that he is now one of the most cherished young midfielders on the continent. Paz has proven that he can deliver on big stages and can be touted as a player for the future. Fabregas should be pinning a lot of hope on the youngster, and Paz will look to repay him in full.
It remains to be seen now whether the Nico Paz form lands him at a bigger club soon. Either way, the eyes will be on him when the next season begins.
