The Arda Guler form is a silver lining for Real Madrid, who run the risk of finishing a second successive season trophy-less. The 21-year-old Turkish footballer has emerged as a very important player for Los Blancos this season.

The Arda Guler form has helped him cement his place in the Real Madrid starting XI. Guler has played as a playmaker in central midfield primarily for Madrid this season, thereby stamping his authority on the pitch.

Arda Guler Form Has Seen Him Emerge as a Creative Outlet

With Jude Bellingham missing a considerable portion of the season because of an injury, Guler has found himself developing into a creative force in the Real Madrid midfield.

Guler’s impact is evident in his numbers this season. He has scored six goals and, more importantly, registered 12 assists for the Spanish giants in 49 matches this season so far.

Guler scored a brace in Madrid’s 2-3 loss in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarterfinal against Bayern Munich, which included a brilliant curler from a free-kick. Guler’s passing, pace and shooting are all top-class, which makes the comparisons he has drawn with Lionel Messi seem reasonable.

The Arda Guler form has made Alvaro Arbeloa put a lot of faith in him. Guler has played on the right flank at times, but has primarily been used as a playmaker on the left side of central midfield in a 4-3-3.

Guler has also combined really well with Kylian Mbappe on the left side of the pitch whenever Vinicius Junior has not played, and he has played on the left side of the midfield in a 4-5-1 that Real Madrid have used at times.

Guler’s ability to cross from the left flank has come in handy whenever he has played on the left side of the pitch. This has added another dimension to his game aside from playing as the right-winger.

Guler is in his third season at Real Madrid and has scored 18 goals in 110 matches for them. He was primarily used as a substitute in his first two seasons at the club, but the Arda Guler form has seen him rise into prominence this season.

Guler’s Madrid Future

Both Mbappe and Vinicius are in the prime of their football careers. However, Vinicius might not be a part of the team for a long time, as there have already been reports connecting him to a move away from Santiago Bernabeu. Mbappe still has a long way to go as a Real Madrid player, but, he will need someone alongside him to help his team.

Bellingham is very young and could be the perfect ally for Guler in the midfield. In fact, if Vinicius departs in the near future, Mbappe, Guler and Bellingham will be the core of the team on which they can rebuild for the future.

The current Arda Guler form gives Real Madrid supporters hope. The fact that he is only 21 means that he has a long career in front of him. However, the Turk has already played in more than 100 matches for Los Blancos, and the Arda Guler form means that the best is yet to come for him.
