Bayern Munich Bundesliga title win was ensured with four matches to spare by their 4-2 win in the Bayern Munich vs VfB Stuttgart on Sunday, April 19. Bayern now have 79 points in 30 matches, while the second-placed Borussia Dortmund are on 64 points from the same number of matches.

It means that the Bavarians now have an unassailable lead over their arch-rivals and thus, the Bayern Munich Bundesliga title triumph was confirmed. This is Vincent Kompany’s second successive Bundesliga triumph after Xabi Alonso did the unthinkable by winning the Bundesliga title unbeaten with Bayer Leverkusen in the 2023/24 season.

Bayern Munich Bundesliga Title Was a Dominant Performance

Bayern have scored a whopping 109 goals in 30 Bundesliga matches this season, which means that they have scored 3.63 goals per match on average. That is simply an absurd number for a top football league.

Bayern have a goal difference of 80 with four matches to go, which is simply incredible. More importantly, three of the goal-scorers in the Bayern Munich vs VfB Stuttgart 4-2 win – Nicolas Jackson, Alphonso Davies and Raphael Guerrero – have not been regular starters for the team this season.

As a result, the Bayern Munich Bundesliga title win was undisputed and a resounding statement from their young Belgian manager. They have won 25 of their 30 matches and lost a solitary one in the Bundesliga this season, which shows the extent of their dominance.

Harry Kane, their first-choice striker, has scored a whopping 51 goals this season so far, which is simply incredible. Bayern’s front-three are in stupendous form this season, which have helped them progress to the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League as well.

Bayern’s defenders are comparatively young, but that has not stopped them from keeping 11 clean sheets in 30 matches so far, of which Manuel Neuer has kept eight in 21 matches. The 40-year-old German goalkeeper has rolled back the years this season with a string of impressive performances.

Bayern Have One of the Most Formidable Squads in Europe

There are very few clubs in Europe at the moment that can match Bayern in terms of overall strength. The Bavarians are also in the semi-final of the DFB Pokal, which puts them in a position strong enough to win the domestic double.

However, it is winning the coveted treble that will be on the mind of Kompany. They will fancy their chances of winning their first Champions League title since 2020. Bayern will take on Paris Saint-Germain in the semi-final of the Champions League over the next couple of weeks.

Kompany will be eager to engage in a battle of wits with Luis Enrique in the Champions League semi-final. However, as of now, the former Manchester City player should cherish the second successive Bayern Munich Bundesliga title success.

Supporters of the German giants will hope that the Bayern Munich Bundesliga title success is the first of the multiple silverwares this season. As of now, the Bavarians look very strong and a difficult proposition for any team on the continent.

It remains to be seen whether the German club can build upon their Bundesliga triumph and go on to win more trophies this season. The chances of it happening seem quite high.
