On closer inspection, Sanchez was not given many opportunities to shine in the J League, and he returned to Poland. Before his move to Asia, he played for Widzew Lodz in the Ekstraklasa, and the White Star was adding a player with experience in the top flight. Whilst it is still very early days in the Ekstraklasa season, Jordi Sanchez’s goalscoring form could be extremely useful when faced with some of Poland’s elite teams.
