Having had the weekend off, Paris Saint-Germain comes in well-rested ahead of their UEFA Champions League return leg game at home to Borussia Dortmund. The French side will have to come from behind, having lost the first leg 1-0.

PSG won their 10th Ligue 1 title in 12 years, once again showing their domination in French football. However, there is one major trophy that has continued to elude them: the Champions League. The only continental trophy they have won in the past is the 1995/96 UEFA Cup Winners Cup, beating Rapid Wien in the final.
In the Champions League this term, four of PSG’s five wins have come at the Parc des Princes, which will make things more challenging for Dortmund. With that said, however, Les Parisiens‘ last home match in the competition saw them lose 3-2 to Barcelona what was in a frenetic game. They will have to play at their absolute best on Tuesday in order to make a second final in five years.
Dortmund impressed on the weekend, smashing Augsburg 5-1. While they, like PSG, have already qualified for the UCL next term, Dortmund will be trying to finish in the top four there. Eleven years on from their last final in the UCL – which also was at Wembley – Die Schwarzgelben will be pushing for their third appearance in the competition’s final.
In 25 European matches against French opposition, Dortmund has a 10-6-9 record. While they have won thrice on French soil, they have never beaten PSG in three previous away attempts. In fact, they have never even found the back of the net in that run. That makes Tuesday night’s game all the more difficult.

Paris Saint-Germain vs Borussia Dortmund Prediction
PSG to win at 1.44, PSG to advance at 1.66
The expectation here will be for PSG to move on. While the odds are heavily skewed in their favour, there is a reason why Les Parisiens are the favourites to not just win on the night, but also overturn their first leg deficit and reach their second UCL final.
Paris Saint-Germain vs Borussia Dortmund Tips
Both teams to score, no at 2.10
Here is a surprise for some people, but I think only PSG will find the back of the net in this decider. Although Dortmund has scored in all but one of their UCL away games this term – with the exception coming against PSG in the group stage – it is difficult to look past the attacking talent of the French side.

This match will likely be Kylian Mbappé’s last UCL home game in a PSG jersey before he departs this summer. Thus, we can expect the 25-year-old to have another big game to push his team on to the final.
