The Ismael Saibari form for Morocco is doing wonders at the World Cup 2026. Morocco beat Haiti 4-2 in their last group match on Wednesday, June 24, with Saibari being one of their goal-scorers in the Morocco vs Haiti match.

Saibari has now scored a goal in each of the three matches for his country so far at the World Cup. The semifinalists of the World Cup 2022 have secured the second position in their group behind Brazil and will likely take on the Netherlands in the round of 32.

Ismael Saibari Form Has Helped Him Emerge as One of the Top Strikers

Saibari, who has reportedly been signed by Bayern Munich from PSV Eindhoven for €55million, has scored 12 goals in 33 international caps for Morocco. However, the 25-year-old has scored five goals in his five international matches, which shows his progress as a player.

The Ismael Saibari form has helped Morocco gain the respect of their opponents. Saibari, an attacking midfielder who can also play as a striker, has scored 42 goals in 142 matches for PSV, but 34 of those goals have come in the last two seasons alone, in 81 matches.

It shows that Saibari has been steadily improving as a player, and his performances might make a few of the big clubs take notice. All the other players, who have three or more goals in the current World Cup, like Vinicius Junior, Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland, are established, top players.

Saibari’s presence among them ensures his rising stature as a player. He is quite a physical specimen, and that makes the opposition defenders’ job of marking him quite difficult. In the Morocco vs Brazil match, he made quite an impression by outrunning Gabriel to get hold of a through pass and chip it over a diving Alisson Becker.

Morocco’s chances against the Netherlands might depend a lot on Saibari after the latter found the net in the Morocco vs Haiti match as well. Virgil van Dijk, the big centre-back from the Netherlands, might have a great battle with Saibari should they come face-to-face.

Will Saibari Be Able To Impress at Bayern?

Bayern Munich already have a great front-three of Harry Kane, Michael Olise and Luis Diaz, while attacking midfielders like Jamal Musiala and Lennart Karl are also there. In such a scenario, it will be quite difficult for the Moroccan to break into the playing XI.

However, he should still be able to make his mark with the opportunities he gets as a substitute or by starting against lesser teams. Should he be able to perform, it should also give him the opportunity to win titles at Bayern, as the Bavarians are almost always in a position to win trophies in German and European football.

Saibari’s performance in the Morocco vs Haiti match once again pointed out his importance to his national team. Should Morocco be able to go deep into the tournament, the new Bayern Munich player will get more chances to impress. As of now, he has been one of the success stories in the tournament in North America.
